Christine Kemp
Lingfei Gu
Lingfei was a competitive swimmer for 16 years. He was nominated by the Shanghai’s swimming team by age 14.
Lingfei has been coached Shanghai JINYE high school swimming team and Huangpu district swimming team since 2009. Having finished Supply Chain management program from Shanghai Maritime University, Lingfei moved to Canada in 2013 and went back to school. In 2016, Lingfei graduated Accounting management program from Macewan University and recently he is completing National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Level 1.
Lingfei, as a patient person, always do what a good coach supposed to do and get relationship with parents in order to make his swimmers better.
Yamei Wang
Since Yamei started her professional swimming training, she has been a competitive swimmer and coach for more than 17 years.She achieved First Class Athlete title when she was 14 in China, and won the gold medals in the Youth Swimming Competition of Hebei province from 2005 to 2010. Then, she was recognized as High-Level Athletes and was admitted to Tianjin Universitywith a full swimming scholarship. From 2010 to 2012, she achieved the gold medals in National College Swi
Yamei began swimming teaching from 2010 and more recently coaching entry-level competitive swimmers. She has been coaching for the past 6 years, which gained her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She already obtained National Lifeguard and Emergency First Aid certifications from Lifesaving Society and is completing National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) level one. She loves working with children and seeing them make success, gain new skills and confidence.
Teng
Teng was used to be a semi-professional swimmer for 9 years and achieved Second Class Athlete title when he was 10 years old in China and won the silver medal in the “100-Metre backstroke” in Beijing. In the same year, he was nominated to join Beijing Municipal Swimming team after several years’ semi-professional training.
Teng certified with Swim Instructor/Examiner, Lifesaving Instructor/Examiner, Lifesaving CPR Instructor/Examiner and National Lifeguard – Pool by Lifesaving Society. Teng used to coach Children-Beginner level swimming class as well as Adult-Fitness Swimming class at the University of Alberta.
Other than swimming career, Teng graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Masters in Supply Chain management degree in England. Also, he is a muay thai amateur and has achieved Advanced Scuba Diving certificate issued by Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
